Regular Season Round 10: Osnabruck SC - B.Loewen 79-42

Rather expected game when 6th ranked B.Loewen (6-5) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked Osnabruck SC (7-1) 79-42 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-42. Osnabruck SC dominated on the defensive end, holding B.Loewen to just 6 points in second quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to B.Loewen's 30 and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Osnabruck SC forced 23 B.Loewen turnovers and outrebounded them 42-31 including 27 on the defensive glass. Osnabruck SC maintains fourth position in North with 7-1 record. Loser B.Loewen keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Osnabruck SC will face Krofdorf/Gleib. (#5) in Giessen in the next round. B.Loewen will play at home against Braunschweig and hope to win that game.
