There was a surprise result in Bursa where seventeenth ranked Final Genclik (3-9) defeated higher ranked Turk Telekom (7-5) 91-80 on Tuesday. Final Genclik looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. The best player for the winners was Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford, agency: SDJ Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead) chipped in 19 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) who recorded 19 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists and his fellow American import center Gene Teague (206-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: HMS) added 13 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Turk Telekom's coach Gencer Baytimur rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Final Genclik moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Pertevniyal and Yalova Bld. Loser Turk Telekom dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. Final Genclik will face league's second-placed Sakarya BSB in Sakaraya in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
