Regular Season Round 7: Blyskavky - Tim-Scuf 55-84

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Tim-Scuf (8-1) crushed 6th ranked Blyskavky (4-5) in Vinnytsia 84-55 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Tim-Scuf led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Blyskavky's 32. Tim-Scuf forced 30 Blyskavky turnovers and had a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Quite impressive performance for international center Miriam Uro-Nile (188-94, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Olga Krayevska (171-94) contributed with 17 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Tim-Scuf players scored in double figures. Tim-Scuf's coach Maryna Tkachenko felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International power forward Tetyana Yurkevicius (187-95) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and forward Tetyana Lysenko (180-93) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Blyskavky. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Tim-Scuf. They keep a position of league leader. Loser Blyskavky keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Tim-Scuf's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kyiv .
