There was no surprise when 9th ranked Elazig (6-6) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Ormanspor (9-3) 74-56 on Wednesday. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American center Aisha Mohammed (191-85, college: Virginia) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and guard Deniz Boz (172-82) who added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Sharon Houston (191-88, college: IU Northwest) with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks and Sehernaz Cidal (183-95) scored 18 points. Four Elazig players scored in double figures. Ormanspor have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 9-3 record, which they share with Izmit. Loser Elazig dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. Ormanspor's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Ankara Cankaya.
