Very expected game in Skofja Loka where 10th ranked LTH Castings (1-8) were rolled over by third ranked Un.Olimpija (7-2) 97-67 on Friday. The game without a history. Un.Olimpija led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Serbian-Swiss forward Marko Mladjan (205-93) stepped up and scored 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Serbian Nikola Jankovic (207-94, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 15 points. Un.Olimpija's coach Gasper Okorn felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was forward Luka Grum (194-92) with 16 points and 9 rebounds and center Haris Cucovic (206-98) scored 19 points. Five Un.Olimpija and four LTH Castings players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Un.Olimpija. They moved-up to second place. LTH Castings lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Portoroz and Terme Olimia. Un.Olimpija will meet at home Lastovka (#5) in the next round. LTH Castings will play against Terme Olimia (#12) in Podcetrtek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
