Regular Season Round 8: Lemvig - SISU 86-71

Fifth ranked Lemvig (3-3) beat at home 6th ranked SISU (2-6) by 15 points 86-71, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Lemvig. SISU managed to win third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lemvig had a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was Sarah DeShone (, college: Ferris St.) who scored 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Erin McDonnell (185-93, college: Harvard) chipped in 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Lemvig players scored in double figures. Guard Jazmine Redmon (173-91, college: Gonzaga) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Ciara Andrews (175-94, college: St.Joseph's) added 13 points respectively for the guests. SISU's coach Morten Thomsen rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lemvig moved-up to third place, which they share with Amager. SISU lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. Lemvig will meet bottom-ranked Aabyhoj (#7) on the road in the next round. SISU will play against Amager and hope to secure a win.
