Bursaspor did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 93-74 on Saturday. Bursaspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Turk Telekom's players. Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: BeoBasket) nailed a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds (on 13-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89, agency: BeoExcell) accounted for 18 points and 7 assists. American center Gene Teague (206-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: HMS) came up with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Ahmet Cantitiz (193-92) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Turk Telekom in the defeat. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Bursaspor. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Afyon. Loser Turk Telekom dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Bursaspor will meet at home Acibadem (#8) in the next round. Turk Telekom will play against the league's leader Sakarya BSB in Sakaraya and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the BSL just one year after relegation.
