The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Osnabruecker's (3-9) home loss to eighth ranked SG BBZ Opladen (4-7) 52-67. Osnabruecker was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. SG BBZ Opladen made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Nicola Happel (164-92) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SG BBZ Opladen maintains eighth place in North with 4-7 record. Osnabruecker lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. SG BBZ Opladen's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Goettingen at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
