Twelfth-ranked Giants (2-9) were very close to win a game against second ranked Elchingen (8-2) on Saturday. Elchingen managed to secure only three-point victory 95-92. However their fans expected much easier game. Elchingen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian swingman Taevaunn Prince (191-91, college: Missouri So.) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Hungarian-Serbian Branislav Jancikin (199-86, agency: Mansfield and Associates) accounted for 23 points (on 9-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side. American forward Adrien Coleman (198-91, college: Beth.-Cookman) came up with 24 points and 4 assists and center Adrian Lind (206-94) added 25 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Giants in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Elchingen have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place in South with 8-2 record behind leader Bernau. Giants lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with nine games lost.
