Regionalliga top team - BV Villingen-Schwenningen (11-1) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Kaiserslautern (2-10) 72-62. BV Villingen-Schwenningen made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Kaiserslautern turnovers and outrebounded them 42-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. Bosnian-Slovenian power forward Edin Alispahic (208-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Japhet McNeil (183-85, college: Bridgeport) replied with 20 points, 6 assists and 5 steals and forward Waldemar Nap (202-93) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kaiserslautern.
