There was no surprise when 11th ranked Braunschweig (1-9) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked B.Loewen (7-5) 64-57. B.Loewen held Braunschweig to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.3 percent accuracy of the winners and made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. B.Loewen forced 19 Braunschweig turnovers and had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. B.Loewen maintains sixth place in North with 7-5 record. Braunschweig at the other side keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. B.Loewen's next round opponent will be higher ranked TG Neuss (#3) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Braunschweig will play against Krofdorf/Gleib.
