Regular Season Round 12: SISU - Randers 80-71

We should not miss a home victory of seventh ranked SISU (4-7) over 4th ranked Randers (6-6) 80-71. Randers were ahead by 9 points at the halftime before a 46-28 second half run of SISU. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Randers' 36. They outrebounded Randers 49-30 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. SISU players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward Tanner McGrew (203-93, college: W.Virg.Wesl., agency: Duran International) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international guard Anders Haas (185-92, college: Barry) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Belizean point guard Charles Burgess (186-84, college: Texas Tech) who recorded 31 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and forward Casper Jorgensen (201-92) added 10 points respectively. SISU moved-up to sixth place. Randers at the other side keep the fourth position with six games lost. SISU's next round opponent will be league's leader Horsens IC in Horsens and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Randers will play at home against Naestved and hope to win that game.
