Regular Season Round 13: Schwabing - Leitershofen 88-65

Very expected game when 11th ranked Topstar (3-9) was smashed on the road by seventh ranked Schwabing (7-5) 88-65 on Saturday. Topstar was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for forward Oscar Da Silva (206-98) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Pakistani Salman Manzur (205-96) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Schwabing players scored in double figures. American forward Joshua Hart (198-90, college: Va Intermont) answered with 19 points and guard Raphael Braun (185-94) added 8 points in the effort for Topstar. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Schwabing moved-up to sixth place in South-East. Topstar lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. Schwabing will face Herzogenaurach (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Topstar will play against Vilsbiburg and hope to win that game.
