The game in Prienai supposed to be also quite interesting. 6th ranked P.Zvaigzdes (6-9) played at the court of seventh ranked Vytautas (7-8). Vytautas did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 96-77 on Saturday. The game without a history. Vytautas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Vytautas outrebounded P.Zvaigzdes 40-25 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Vytenis Cizauskas (187-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 5 assists. Swingman Tomas Dimsa (195-94) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. Five Vytautas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Derrick Low (191-86, college: Washington St., agency: Octagon Europe) with 19 points and 6 assists and Russian forward Nikita Balashov (207-91, agency: Alti Sport) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vytautas moved-up to fifth place. Loser P.Zvaigzdes keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Juventus. Vytautas will meet at home Nevezis (#8) in the next round. P.Zvaigzdes will play against Neptunas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
