There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Kaiserslautern (3-10) defeated at home higher ranked Koblenz (8-5) 84-73 on Sunday. Kaiserslautern dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Koblenz's 30. Kaiserslautern forced 26 Koblenz turnovers. It was a very good performance for forward Waldemar Nap (202-93) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds.
