Regular Season Round 11: Sloga - Dynamic BG 52-61

Very predictable result when second ranked Dynamic BG (9-2) won against 12th ranked Sloga (3-8) in Kraljevo 61-52 on Friday. Sloga trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 15-9 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 52-61 at the end of the game. Dynamic BG dominated on the defensive end, holding Sloga to just 7 points in first quarter. It was an exceptional evening for guard Andreja Stevanovic (189-95) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Power forward Strahinja Gavrilovic (206-93, college: USC) accounted for 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Point guard Petar Vorkapic (194-95) came up with 12 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Nemanja Pavlovic (200-93) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Sloga in the defeat. Dynamic BG keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Vrsac. Sloga lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with eight games lost. Dynamic BG will meet at home Smederevo (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Sloga will play against Konstantin in Nis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
