There was no surprise in Tuebingen where 14th ranked Walter Tigers (4-10) were defeated by sixth ranked ALBA Berlin (9-5) 82-77 on Friday. Strangely Walter Tigers outrebounded ALBA Berlin 36-23 including 22 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard Peyton Siva (183-90, college: Louisville) who scored 18 points and 4 assists. Serbian swingman Dragan Milosavljevic (198-89) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. Four ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. ALBA Berlin's coach Ahmet Caki used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Naturalized American forward Isaiah Philmore (203-89, college: Xavier) produced 21 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Davion Berry (193-91, college: Weber St.) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. ALBA Berlin have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Walter Tigers lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with ten games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. ALBA Berlin will meet Braunschweig (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
