Date: December 17, 2016
Another interesting game for Lemvig (2-7) which hosted one of their biggest challengers Stevnsgade (3-6). Seventh ranked Lemvig had an easy win 75-64. The game was mostly controlled by Lemvig. Stevnsgade was better in fourth quarter 24-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Stevnsgade 31-20 including 22 on the defensive glass. Lemvig players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American forward Erin McDonnell (185-93, college: Harvard) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import center Kayla Bernsen (190, college: W.Washington) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Lemvig players scored in double figures. Lemvig's coach Peter Jensen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
