Very predictable result when eighth ranked Vytis (10-10) won against bottom-ranked Ezerunas-Karys (4-17) in Sakiai 81-76 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 19 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 5 points. Vytis forced 19 Ezerunas-Karys turnovers. Guard Edgaras Stanionis (194-88, agency: Dynamics Global Management) notched 23 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and center Edvinas Jezukevicius (207-90) supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds.
