No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Krofdorf/Gleib. (8-4) beat 12th ranked Braunschweig (1-11) in Giessen 69-62 on Sunday. Braunschweig trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 14-6 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 62-69 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Braunschweig 38-27 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. Forward Alayshia Hunter (185-93, college: La-Monroe) replied with 16 points and 9 rebounds and guard Felicia Barron (170-90, college: Quinnipiac) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Braunschweig.
