Rather expected game when 7th ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (6-5) lost to fifth ranked Darussafaka (8-3) in Istanbul 74-87. Darussafaka outrebounded Pinar Karsiyaka 36-23 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Scottie Wilbekin (188-93, college: Florida) who scored 23 points. French Adrien Moerman (202-88) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Darussafaka's coach David Blatt allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward DaJuan Summers (203-88, college: Georgetown) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import point guard Mike Green (185-85, college: Butler) added 12 points and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Darussafaka have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Galatasaray and Banvit BK. Pinar Karsiyaka at the other side keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Darussafaka's next round opponent will be league's leader Anadolu Efes in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
