Regular Season Round 16: Dresden - Hamburg 75-61

Bottom-ranked Titans managed to get a second victory, breaking the ten-game losing streak. This time newly promoted Titans won against eleventh-ranked Hamburg in Dresden 75-61. Titans made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Hamburg was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Randal Holt (185-91, college: Kent St., agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 assists. The other American import point guard R.J. Price (180-93, college: Radford) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Titans players scored in double figures. Titans' coach Liam Flynn allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Justin Raffington (205-91, college: Florida Atlantic) replied with 10 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Rod Camphor (191-92, college: SW Oklahoma St.) added 16 points in the effort for Hamburg. Newly promoted Titans maintains sixteenth position with 2-14 record. Hamburg at the other side keeps the eleventh place with nine games lost. Titans will play against higher ranked Gladiators (#8) in Trier in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Hamburg will play at home against Nuernberg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
