Very predictable result when third ranked Abdullah Gul (7-2) won against 11th ranked Girne Univ. (3-7) in Lefkosa 77-68 on Saturday. Abdullah Gul looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Belgian center Ann Wauters (194-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Montenegrin center Jelena Dubljevic (191-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) supported her with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Even 18 points and 9 rebounds by Serbian-Hungarian forward Tijana Krivacevic (196-90) did not help to save the game for Girne Univ..
