Regular Season Round 22: Dnipro - Cherkasy 82-55
Date: December 25, 2016
The game between third ranked Dnipro (14-6) and 6th ranked Cherkasy (9-10) in Dnepropetrovsk on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Dnipro outscored guests from Cherkasy 82-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Cherkasy. The game without a history. Dnipro led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. International forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (202-89, agency: Octagon Europe) notched 14 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and forward Anton Dziuba (204-95) supported him with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Dnipro players scored in double figures. Even 19 points by the former international swingman Oleksandr Kolchenko (195-88, agency: AproK Sports Group) did not help to save the game for Cherkasy. American forward Stacy Davis (198-94, college: Pepperdine) added 7 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dnipro maintains third position with 14-6 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Khimik. Loser Cherkasy keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Zaporizhya.
