Regular Season Round 13: Galatasaray - Darussafaka 72-87

Another exciting game was played in Istanbul between fifth ranked Darussafaka and 6th ranked Galatasaray where Darussafaka (9-4) beat Galatasaray (8-5) on the road with 15-point difference 87-72. Darussafaka made 16-of-16 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Brad Wanamaker (193-89, college: Pittsburgh) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 assists. French Adrien Moerman (202-88) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. German center Tibor Pleiss (217-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and American-Czech swingman Blake Schilb (201-83, college: Loyola, IL) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Galatasaray. Five Darussafaka and four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. Darussafaka maintains fifth place with 9-4 record. Galatasaray at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Darussafaka will play against Demir IBB (#10) in Buyukcekmece in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Galatasaray will play on the road against Anadolu Efes (#3) in Istanbul and hopes to get back on the winning track.
