Everything could happen in Bursa at the game between two tied teams. Both sixteenth ranked Final Genclik and 15th ranked Duzce Belediye had identical 4-12 record. This time Final Genclik used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Duzce 96-91 on Friday night. Final Genclik looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead) stepped up and scored 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford) chipped in 20 points and 14 rebounds. Final Genclik's coach Ali Uruk used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American-Puerto Rican point guard TreVon Hughes (183-87, college: Wisconsin) responded with 20 points and 8 assists and American center LaRon Dendy (205-88, college: Middle Tenn.St.) scored 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Duzce Belediye players scored in double figures. Final Genclik (5-12) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Yalova Bld and Gelisim. Newly promoted Duzce Belediye dropped to the sixteenth position with 13 games lost. Final Genclik will face league's second-placed Eskisehir Basket in Edirne in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Duzce Belediye will play on the road against the league's leader Sakarya BSB (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
