The game in Aabyhoj was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Amager (6-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Aabyhoj (1-9). Amager managed to secure a 7-point victory 53-46. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 13-5. But Aabyhoj won second period 13-8. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Amager won last quarter 15-10. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aabyhoj to just 5 points in first quarter. It was a good game for forward Catharina Jensen (182-89) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Filipino-American forward Kelly Hardeman (183-94, college: Azusa Pacific) contributed with 7 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. American Mariyah Henley (-94) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds and guard Bianca Christiansen (178-90) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Aabyhoj. Amager moved-up to third place, which they share with Lemvig. Aabyhoj lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Amager will play against Stevnsgade (#6) at home in the next round. Aabyhoj will play against Lemvig to get more than just one victory in their record.
