Regular Season Round 27: Vytis - Petrochema 67-72

Bottom-ranked Petrochema managed to get a sixth victory, breaking the series of seven consecutive losses on Sunday night. This time they won against sixth-ranked Vytis in Sakiai 72-67. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Vytis. Vytis was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Petrochema made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was forward Karolis Sarukas (198-95) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Lukas Grabauskas (194-95) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Petrochema's coach Kestutis Narusevicius used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Gytis Radzevicius (195-95) who recorded 13 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Tadas Sebeziovas (185-85) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Four Vytis players scored in double figures. Petrochema (6-20) moved-up to thirteenth place. Loser Vytis keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost.
