Very predictable result in Bursa where second ranked Eskisehir Basket (15-3) outscored 15th ranked Final Genclik (5-13) 82-61 on Saturday. They outrebounded Final Genclik 48-28 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Eskisehir Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Sean Marshall (198-85, college: Boston Coll.) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Yunus Sonsirma (192-92) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Eskisehir Basket players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead) who recorded 22 points and forward Cihad Sahin (203-83) added 12 points and 4 steals respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Eskisehir Basket maintains second position with 15-3 record behind leader Sakarya BSB. Loser Final Genclik dropped to the fourteenth place with 13 games lost. Eskisehir Basket will face league's leader Sakarya BSB in Sakaraya in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Final Genclik will play on the road against Yalova Bld (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
