Regular Season Round 16: Zwickau - Leitershofen 81-88

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th ranked Zwickau (4-11) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Topstar (4-11) 88-81 on Saturday. Topstar looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Michael Dorsch (193-96) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Joshua Hart (198-90, college: Va Intermont) who added 16 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Hendrik Bellscheidt (193-90) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and Dominic Bassl (190-96) scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Topstar moved-up to eleventh place in South-East, which they share with defeated Zwickau. Zwickau lost sixth consecutive game. Topstar will face higher ranked TSV Troester (#5) in Breitenguessbach in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
