Regular Season Round 13: Wolfenbuettel - B.Loewen 77-59

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel (11-2) beat at home 6th ranked B.Loewen (6-7) 77-59. The game was mostly controlled by Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel. B.Loewen was better in third quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel forced 26 B.Loewen turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a very good performance for forward Alli Gloyd (185-92, college: Arizona) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Alysha Womack (170-91, college: Monmouth) contributed with 28 points for the winners. Center Catrina Green (188-92, college: Gardner-Webb) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and Ja'Nee Morton (175) added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for B.Loewen. Four B.Loewen players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel maintains second place in North with 11-2 record having just five point less than leader B.Loewen, which they share with Goettingen and Neuss. B.Loewen at the other side still keeps top position with seven games lost. Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel's next round opponent will be Krofdorf/Gleib. (#6) in Giessen. B.Loewen will play at home against TuSLi Berlin (#10) and hope to win that game.
