A very close game took place in Galati between Phoenix Galati and Craiova. Eighth ranked Phoenix Galati (6-9) got a very close home victory over 9th ranked Craiova (4-10). Guard Tayloe Taylor (191-86, college: Livingstone) added 18 points and 4 assists for lost side. Craiova's coach Vladimir Vuksanovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Phoenix Galati maintains eighth position with 6-9 record. Loser Craiova keeps the ninth place with ten games lost. Phoenix Galati will meet league's second-placed Steaua CSM in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Craiova will play against Oradea (#5) and hope to secure a win.
