The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Haskovo 2012 as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Haskovo 2012 smashed 4th placed Neftochimic at home 91-51. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Neftochimic. Haskovo 2012 dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Neftochimic's 30. They outrebounded Neftochimic 44-22 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Haskovo 2012 looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Chelsey Lee (193-89, college: Rutgers, agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican point guard Jennifer O'Neill (168-90, college: Kentucky) chipped in 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Haskovo 2012 players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Slovenian center Tina Trebec (190-90) who recorded 15 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Teodora Dineva (178-96) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Neftochimic at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. There is only one round left in the Regular Season. strong Montana 2003 trying to get back on the winning streak. Haskovo 2012 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
