Regular Season Round 15: Karlsruhe BG - Dragons 67-69

Important game to mention about took place in Karlsruhe. Seventh ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (7-8) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked BG Karlsruhe (8-6) 69-67 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BG Karlsruhe. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Aaron Nelson (203-91, college: S.Indiana) who led the winners and scored 16 points. Point guard Viktor Frankl-Maus (186-93) accounted for 6 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Dragons Rhoendorf's coach Matthias Sonnenschein allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American center Jeremy Black (203-85, college: Tampa, agency: Court Side) came up with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Russian-Israeli power forward Anton Kazarnovski (206-85) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for BG Karlsruhe in the defeat. Dragons Rhoendorf have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain seventh place in South with 7-8 record. BG Karlsruhe at the other side dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Dragons Rhoendorf will play against league's leader Karlsruhe PS on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BG Karlsruhe will play against USC Leipzig (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
