Not a big story in a game in Ankara where 17th ranked Nevsehir Uni (4-16) was defeated by sixth ranked Cankaya (14-5) 72-62. The winners were led by the former international forward Seda Tabakci (188-85) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Gulsah Celebi (-85) supported her with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by Jamaican-American swingman Shenneika Smith (185-89, college: St.John's) did not help to save the game for Nevsehir Uni. Center Ozge Turmus (188-92) added 14 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Cankaya have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bodrum.
