Leader Hoverla delivered the fourteenth victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Ch.Mavpy 2 (2-14) 92-49 in Cherkasy. The game without a history. Hoverla led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Ch.Mavpy 2's 16. They outrebounded Ch.Mavpy 2 53-25 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a quality performance for the former international center Roman Gumeniuk (220-87) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Andriy Kalashnikov (175-89) accounted for 9 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Yevgen Balaban (200-96, agency: AproK Sports Group) came up with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Rostislav Lunskiy (189-97) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Ch.Mavpy 2 in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
