Very predictable result when second ranked Galatasaray (11-3) defeated on the road 11th ranked Mersin MBK (4-9) 76-66. Galatasaray forced 33 Mersin MBK turnovers. Strangely Mersin MBK outrebounded Galatasaray 33-15 including 20 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The former international guard Isil Alben (170-86, agency: 1x1 Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 assists and 6 steals. Senegalese power forward Astou Traore (182-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 18 points and 4 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners.
