Regular Season Round 15: Fenerbahce - TED Kolejliler 89-76

BSL top team - Fenerbahce (13-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixteenth ranked TED Kolejliler (0-15) in Istanbul 89-76. Fenerbahce made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a quality performance for center Ahmet Duverioglu (209-93) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. International guard Melih Mahmutoglu (193-90) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Fenerbahce's coach Zeljko Obradovic used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) came up with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and the other American import Devin Thomas (206-94, college: Wake Forest) added 19 points and 9 rebounds respectively for TED Kolejliler in the defeat. Fenerbahce have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-2 record, which they share with Anadolu Efes. TED Kolejliler at the other side still closes the standings with 15 games lost. Fenerbahce will play against Usak Sportlif (#13) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. TED Kolejliler will play against Besiktas in Istanbul and hopes to get finally their first victory.
