Regular Season Round 15: SISU - Stevnsgade 73-74

The biggest surprise of round 15 was guest Stevnsgade's (4-9) road victory over 5th ranked SISU (3-10) 74-73 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-73. Stevnsgade made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Cherelle Moore (183-93, college: Hartford) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. The former international guard Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) chipped in 23 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Jazmine Redmon (173-91, college: Gonzaga) who recorded a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Ciara Andrews (175-94, college: St.Joseph's) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively. SISU's coach Morten Thomsen rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Stevnsgade moved-up to fifth place. SISU lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. Stevnsgade are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Aabyhoj (#7) at home in the next round. SISU will play against Amager in Kastrup and is hoping to win this game.
