The game in Siauliai was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Fortuna (8-8) played at the court of 6th ranked Siauliai-Univ. (6-11). Fortuna defeated Siauliai-Univ. 75-60 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Fortuna. Siauliai-Univ. managed to win third quarter 18-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fortuna looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Siauliai-Univ.'s players. The winners were led by the former international guard Andra Andra Gabalyte (179-80, college: Liberty) who scored that evening 12 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and international center Justina Matuzonyte (198-94) supported her with 15 points and 9 rebounds. They keep the sixth place with 11 games lost. Fortuna will meet at home league's second-placed Kibirkstis in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
