2. Bundesliga top team - BasCats Heidelberg (13-1) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked Friendsfactory Germering (5-8) 77-70. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 26-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. BasCats Heidelberg made 25-of-27 free shots (92.6 percent) during the game. BasCats Heidelberg outrebounded Friendsfactory Germering 38-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for center Viktoria Krell (183-85, college: Lindsey Wilson) who led her team to a victory with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Loser Friendsfactory Germering keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. BasCats Heidelberg will face Wasserburg II (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Friendsfactory Germering will play against Rhein Main Baskets in Langen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
