Seventh-ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (10-10) was very close to win a game against third ranked Kirchheim Knights (15-5). Kirchheim Knights managed to secure only one-point victory 92-91. However their fans expected much easier game. Kirchheim Knights players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Oettinger Rockets Gotha was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jonathon Williams (198-90, college: Wagner) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import guard Carrington Love (186-94, college: Green Bay) who added 18 points, 7 assists and 6 steals during the contest. American forward Jacob Parker (198-93, college: SF Austin) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Ivorian forward Dane Watts (203-86) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Kirchheim Knights have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 15-5 record having just three points less than leader MBC. Oettinger Rockets Gotha lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with ten games lost. They share the position with Trier and Koeln Rh.Stars. Kirchheim Knights will play against Koeln Rh.Stars (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Oettinger Rockets Gotha will play against MLP Academics Heidelberg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
