Regular Season Round 15: Konstantin - Metalac 80-83

Thirteenth-ranked Konstantin (1-14) gave a tough game to tenth ranked Metalac (7-8) in Nis on Saturday. The visitors from Valjevo managed to secure only three-point victory 83-80. However their fans expected easier game. Metalac forced 21 Konstantin turnovers. The best player for the winners was naturalized Bosnian guard Marko Josilo (200-92) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Aleksandar Vasic (185-87) chipped in 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Luka Zivkovic (-97) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and center Dusan Sisic (206-90) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Konstantin's coach Predrag Jacimovic let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Metalac have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Beovuk 72. Konstantin at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Smederevo. Metalac will meet at home higher ranked Borac (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Konstantin will play against the league's leader Vrsac (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
