A very close game took place in Bremerhaven between Eisbaeren Bremerhaven and Science City Jena. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Science City Jena's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven moved-up to thirteenth place. Newly promoted Science City Jena dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will meet higher ranked EWE Baskets (#6) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Science City Jena will play against Braunschweig (#15) and hope to secure a win.
