A very close game took place in Bremerhaven between Eisbaeren Bremerhaven and Science City Jena. Newly promoted Science City Jena dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will meet higher ranked EWE Baskets (#6) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Science City Jena will play against Braunschweig (#15) and hope to secure a win.
