Ninth-ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (8-10) gave a tough game to fifth ranked BBC Bayreuth (14-4). The visitors from Bayreuth managed to secure only three-point victory 79-76. However their fans expected much easier game. BBC Bayreuth made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. The game was dominated by American players.
