The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Istanbul: Acibadem (#7) and Istanbulspor (#8). Acibadem (14-7) won against visiting Istanbulspor (12-9) 81-69. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Bracey Wright (191-84, college: Indiana) who scored 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Sharrod Ford (206-82, college: Clemson) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Acibadem players scored in double figures. Acibadem's coach Serhan Aydanarig used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CS San Bernar.) who recorded 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Walter Lemon Jr. (190-92, college: Bradley) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Acibadem moved-up to sixth place. Istanbulspor lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Acibadem are looking forward to face Final Genclik (#15) in Bursa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Istanbulspor will play at home against Muglaorman (#18) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
