Regular Season Round 21: Bursaspor - Final Genclik 91-78

Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Bursa: Bursaspor (#5) and Final Genclik (#15). Bursaspor (15-6) won against visiting Final Genclik (6-15) 91-78. Bursaspor dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Final Genclik's 32. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89, agency: BeoExcell) nailed 24 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 20 points. American guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead) came up with 23 points and 4 assists and forward Cihad Sahin (203-83) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively for Final Genclik in the defeat. Four Final Genclik players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bursaspor have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Afyon. Final Genclik at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 15 games lost. Bursaspor's next round opponent will be league's leader Sakarya BSB in Sakaraya and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Final Genclik will play at home against Acibadem (#6) and hope to win that game.
