Regular Season Round 19: CSU Sibiu - Targu Mures 82-66

No shocking result in a game when third ranked CSU Sibiu (12-6) beat at home 7th ranked Targu Mures (9-8) 82-66. The game was mostly controlled by CSU Sibiu. Targu Mures was better in third quarter 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CSU Sibiu forced 21 Targu Mures turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American guard Kevin Hardy (188-93, college: McNeese St.) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals for the winners. The victory was the third consecutive win for CSU Sibiu. They maintain third place with 12-6 record having just two points less than leader UBT Cluj Napoca. Targu Mures at the other side keep the seventh position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
