The game between second ranked Nafta-Uni. (23-9) and seventh ranked Vytis (16-16) was the most important one in the last round on Thursday night. Nafta-Uni. was defeated by Vytis in a tough game in Klaipeda 66-73. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Nafta-Uni.. Nafta-Uni. was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Vytis forced 21 Nafta-Uni. turnovers. Guard Paulius Beliavicius (194-88) fired 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Gytis Radzevicius (195-95) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Dziugas Slavinskas (203-98) produced 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Viktoras Chodosovskis (200-89) added 5 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Vytis maintains seventh place with 16-16 record. Nafta-Uni. at the other side keeps the second position with nine games lost. Vytis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Nafta-Uni. will play again on the road against Vytis in Sakiai and is hoping to win this game.
