Second Stage Round 7: Delikatesas - Mazeikiai 75-82

There was a minor upset in Joniskis where 10th ranked Delikatesas (12-20) was defeated by twelfth ranked Mazeikiai (12-20) 82-75. Delikatesas was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 24-11 charge of Mazeikiai, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Delikatesas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for forward Rytis Biliartas (200-91) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 4 assists. Mantas Serksnas (202-96) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Four Mazeikiai players scored in double figures. Forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) added 13 points respectively for Delikatesas in the defeat. Delikatesas' coach Robertas Stankevicius rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Mazeikiai moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Delikatesas and KTU. Mazeikiai will have a break next round.
